Arnel Pineda

Arnel Pineda is an Filipino singer/songwriter, came to notoriety in the Philippines in the 1890s. He was also the new lead vocalist for the American rock group Journey in 2007. Arnel is 54 years old in 2021, he was born Arnel Campaner Pineda, on the 5th of September, 1967, in Tondo, Manila, Philippines. His birthday is celebrated on September 5 every year. Arnel will turn 55 old on September 5, 2022 and his birth sign is Virgo. Arnel is 5 feet and 4 inches (164cm) in height. His mother passed away, leaving his family in debt. His father, who was six months behind in rent payments and unable to support his family, requested his family members to adopt Arnel. Arnel realized the severity of his father's illness and was forced to leave school to take on the task of bringing relief. Arnel was born in Tondo, Manila at St. Jude Thaddeus Diagnostic Center. Arnel was motivated by his mother to sing while it was still a child. His parents entered him in several singing contests. Arnel's mother was suffering from heart disease. She died at the age of Arel was 13 years old. The death of his mother occurred in February of 2006. After her death, the family was broke. Since his father was six months behind on his rent and as well as unable to provide for his family, his father decided to get his relatives to take Arnel's siblings. Arnel is the youngest of three children: Roderick Pineda, Joselito Pineda and Russmon Pineda. Arnel was aware of the gravity of his circumstance and quit school in order to relieve his father's burden. Arnel went on to spend two years in the streets. He slept anywhere he could, in parks and in small benches in the midst of crowded homes. He collected glass bottles newspapers as well as scrap metals and traded them to recyclers. Arnel was also a part-time worker, doing odd jobs such as cleaning scrap metals or docking ships. Cherry Pineda and Arnel are married. The couple tied the knot in the year 2001. They have two children together one daughter (Theachenelle Pineda), and a boy (Cherub). Arnel also has Matthew and Angelo who are his older sons.
